Notes
- The ministry lists “Correct resolution of problems involving…” as its own criterion in Elements 2, 3 and 4. These map to the Synthesis standards (SYN-1, SYN-2, SYN-3) — the integrative “resolution of problems” criteria made gradeable. The competency statement itself (“solve problems”) is the rationale for assessing them.
- Counting vocabulary: PR-3 names arrangements (ₙPᵣ) and combinations (ₙCᵣ), including the all-elements permutation (n!), matching the devis.
- The “continuous variables” requirement (Element 2) is met by the normal distribution (PR-6). The course intentionally omits the hypergeometric distribution, which the devis does not require.
